Friday: The Night Between Two Worlds
How would you dress to dance with death?
We open Halloween Fusion Valencia by crossing the boundary between the familiar and the mysterious. A night to bring out our darker side, play with shadows, and let ourselves be carried away by shape-shifting creatures and monsters.
🖤 Colours: black, blue, and silver.
Terrifying masks, otherworldly beings, and plenty of imagination.
Dare to cross over to the other side?
Saturday: Fusion Circus – A Colourful Night
Welcome to the circus of horrors!
Tonight, we want to discover your most surprising, extravagant, funny, or unsettling alter ego. What character hides within you? What creature would you like to be for one night?
🌈 An explosion of colour, imagination, and freedom to play with our identity.
Who is your circus-of-horrors alter ego?
Sunday: Creative Halloween Together
We finish the festival by creating together!
A morning to share, play, and get ready for our final celebration. Bring paints, makeup, a wild idea, or even a few things to lend: we’ll be doing each other’s makeup!
And take the opportunity to bring out those extravagant, outrageous, or wonderful clothes you love but never find the right moment to wear.
🎨 Mischievous, fun, and creative. Because getting ready, laughing, and celebrating together is part of the joy too.
Don’t leave your imagination at home!

Workshops
Sayil Johansson: Who’s behind the mask?
On Halloween, masks are allowed… but what happens when we give ourselves the chance to look a little further?
Through games, movement, and improvisation, we’ll keep changing partners, meeting new people, and discovering different ways of communicating without needing to know each other beforehand.
An invitation to step out of the familiar for a while, let ourselves be surprised, play with first impressions, and discover what appears when we approach each other with curiosity.
Because behind every mask there is someone waiting to be met.

Sayil has a great passion for dance. “Without passion we are lost,” she says, her eyes shining. A dancer, teacher, therapist, and artist, she trained in Corporal Expression, belly dance, Persian dance, dervish whirling, and dance therapy, among other movement languages.
She has more than twenty years of experience in belly dance and a stage career with numerous events and festivals, both as a solo dancer and as part of the Al Andalus Danza company.
Her first steps in partner dancing came through salsa, and later she found in tango, forró, and fusion a space of freedom, play, and exploration: the ideal place to get to know each other through movement.
Play, creativity, and creating a dance together lead her to question and redefine roles, the embrace, and the ways of having a more horizontal dialogue between partners.
Her approach also draws on her training as a Gestalt and somatic therapist, putting the body, presence, connection, listening, and emotion at the center.
Yann and Sara: Till the axis do us part?
What if losing your balance wasn’t something to avoid, but an invitation to play?
In this workshop we’ll explore imbalance as a tool for discovering new sensations and possibilities of movement. We’ll play with the axis, with leaning, and with those small shifts off-center that can completely transform a dance.
We’ll focus especially on the follower’s proposals: how they can play with their own axis to create new sensations for their partner and open up other possibilities of connection and movement.
A space to experiment, surprise ourselves, and discover that sometimes stepping a little out of place can take us to very interesting places.
All of it with clear, careful, and constant communication, because losing your axis doesn’t mean losing the connection.

We’re especially excited to welcome a much-loved couple with a long history in Fusion Dance: Yann and Sara. Dance partners and teachers, many of you will also know them as the hosts and creators of a beautiful festival in the middle of nature, In-Fusion Camp.
Their background comes from many dance styles, most notably contemporary dance and, above all, tango. They came to fusion dance as a space of freedom and exploration, focusing on the body and on connection through play, exploration, technique, and body awareness.
They invite us to explore our relationship with the music and with the other person, paying attention to energy, listening, and everything that happens in the encounter.
If I had to choose a few words to describe their dancing and their classes, they would without a doubt be: energy, play, and sensitivity.
Cristian Fierro: To Lift or Not to Lift? This is the question
Do we fly, stay on the ground… or do something completely different?
In this workshop we’ll play with lifts from a place where listening matters more than the figure. We’ll explore how to propose, receive, and transform an invitation to fly, paying attention to what each body needs and wants at every moment.
Because a proposal can become a flight… but also a pause, a change of direction, a small imbalance, or a gentle gesture that barely leaves the ground. Even when we have an idea in mind, we’ll learn to listen to what the other body proposes and adapt the movement so it stays comfortable, safe, and fun for both.
We’ll work on tools to start and perform different lifts, but also to transform an aerial proposal into something that stays on the ground. An invitation to discover that we don’t always have to reach the “lift” to play with the feeling of flying.
A space to experiment, play, and surprise ourselves, where flying, not flying, and changing your mind are all ways of dancing.

We’re delighted to introduce an artist and teacher who is very dear to us and whom we greatly admire, both as a person and for his professional career. Cristian Fierro is a circus artist and acrobat specializing in acrobatics, balance, and movement. His career is rooted in contemporary circus and research into the body, exploring balance, risk, and the possibilities of movement from a playful and creative perspective.
Together with Gracie May Marshall he created Fling, a show combining hula hoop and acrobatics to investigate new languages of movement and balance. The project was born in Madrid as a circus act and, after touring cabarets and festivals, became a full show presented at venues including the Teatro Circo Price.
Cristian has also developed a teaching practice, giving classes in acrobatics, acrodance, aerial silks, and handstands, and has taken part in various contemporary circus projects and productions.
Alix Thai Massage: In Good Hands
An encounter through touch, listening, and movement.
In this workshop we’ll approach Thai massage with curiosity and care, exploring how we can accompany another person’s body through contact, breath, and movement.
Hand in hand, we’ll play with pressure, stretches, rocking, and different ways of holding and letting ourselves be held, learning to listen with our hands and with our whole body.
An invitation to slow down, release tension, and discover the pleasure of attentive and respectful touch.
Because sometimes, to meet each other, all we need is to be hand in hand.

Passionate about movement, I discovered Thai massage through acroyoga, a practice that awakened in me a deep curiosity about the body, touch, and listening. This search took me to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where I was able to train and get closer to its roots.
In my sessions and workshops, massage becomes a space of presence, connection, and bodily exploration. I integrate elements from different bodywork practices, such as Wuo Tai, Pha Khao Ma, and yoga-inspired adjustments.
For me, giving massage is also a therapeutic experience: a meditation in movement and a space to explore, play, and create through the body.
Natalia Romero (Arg/It): Trick or Tango!
Exploring Tango through the lens of Fusion
Mischief with the free leg in a shared space.
In this workshop we’ll play with some tools from tango: the free leg, changes of direction, pivots, and the shared use of space. We’ll explore what happens when we move close together, when we move apart, when we come into contact, or when we let the movement travel from one body to the other.
We’ll work in both roles and combine technical proposals with improvisation to discover how one action can transform, provoke, or inspire our partner’s movement.
A space to play, surprise ourselves, and bring some of tango’s tools into the Fusion universe, with no sequences to memorize or steps to repeat. Just curious bodies, space to explore, and many possibilities to discover.

We’re lucky to welcome, all the way from Bologna, Natalia Romero, an Argentine dancer, teacher, and artist born in Buenos Aires. Natalia trained in contemporary and classical dance and, in parallel, found in tango a new language of expression. She studied at the Universidad del Tango de Buenos Aires, following the Dinzel method, and continued her training with great tango masters.
She currently lives in Bologna, where she teaches tango and contemporary dance, integrating technique, improvisation, musicality, and awareness of movement.
For Natalia, dance is, above all, an encounter: a space to listen, to dialogue, to play with movement, and to build together in the present moment.
We can’t wait to let ourselves be carried by her vision and explore her very particular way of building bridges between different dances and creating dialogues between bodies.
DJs
DJ Juanma (Valencia)

Juanma was part of the early days of the Fusion community in Valencia, where he helped shape its musical identity by creating immersive, carefully crafted atmospheres. His sets invite us to explore and expand the limits of the genre, mixing Mediterranean and oceanic influences with a diverse, sensitive, and nuanced selection. He alternates bright, expansive daytime sets with more intimate and deeper proposals for the night, creating spaces where the audience can recognize themselves, be surprised, and connect through movement. He builds everything with care and dedication: music slow-cooked over a low flame, with balance, warmth, and just the right touch of spice.
DJ Andrea Liarco (Valencia/Italy)

Andrea Liarco grew up between music and movement. Born in Rome, he began studying violin and piano at the age of four, and ever since his path has been shaped by a constant dialogue between sound and body. While training at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, dance appeared as a natural extension of music, leading him to explore urban and social styles until he fell for good with blues, where he found his artistic home.
A musician, dancer, DJ, and teacher, Andrea combines the sensitivity of jazz and electronic music with deep listening to the dance floor, creating lively, organic experiences. He has taken part in tours, festivals, and stage projects all over Europe, and from Valencia he continues his work as a teacher and creator, integrating musical training, improvisation, and dance. In his classes and sets he offers spaces where rhythm, connection, and expression meet with freedom and play.
Julia Happymiaow (Valencia)

From Valencia, Julia shares her passion for music and dance in the blues and fusion scene, connecting with dancers and communities in different places. A DJ, dance teacher, and illustrator, she has been exploring music and sharing sets at events in Spain and other European countries since 2015.
Her sets weave together different musical styles in search of that groove that invites you to loosen your body, put down roots, and let yourself go. An invitation to listen, feel, and play with movement; to connect with yourself, with the person you dance with, and with the floor that holds you. Music to feel, take root, and let the dance flow.
Natalia Romero (Argentina/Italy)

A dancer, teacher, and explorer of movement, Natalia brings her artistic sensitivity to music, creating sets where tango meets experimentation and contemporary sounds.
Her sets move through electronic tango, enveloping textures, unexpected rhythms, and atmospheres that invite you to play with your body and explore new forms of connection. A blend of tradition and avant-garde, of pulse and pause, of strength and subtlety.
As in contemporary dance, her approach opens a space to step out of the familiar, let yourself be surprised, and discover other possibilities of movement and encounter.
Music to explore, improvise, and let the body find its own language.
Yan Perotto (France/Valencia)

Playful, curious, and a lover of the suggestive, Yan enjoys exploring everything music can awaken in the body and in the encounter with another person.
His sets are an invitation to let yourself be surprised, play with rhythms, explore contrasts, and discover unexpected possibilities. Music that hints, provokes, sparks curiosity, and opens the door to other ways of moving and connecting. Because sometimes all it takes is a melody, an unexpected rhythm, or a little game for the dance floor to become a place of discovery. Music to be tempted by, to play with, and to see what happens.
Sayil Johansson (Valencian Community)

Spanish with Norwegian and Mexican roots, Sayil is a Gestalt therapist, dancer, and tireless explorer of movement and music from around the world. With a long career in belly dance and a deep interest in the diversity of body languages, her musical universe is as wide as her curiosity.
Her sets travel across geographies and emotions: from Middle Eastern music and trance drums to the warm rhythms of cumbia, Cape Verdean music, or the melancholy of a fado. There is also room for composers like René Aubry or Max Richter, for enveloping soundscapes, caressing voices, and musical layers to lose yourself in.
She loves weaving sound journeys that spark curiosity, invite play, and let the body find its own way. Sometimes the rhythm grounds us; other times a melody carries us far away or a voice moves through us without warning.
Always in search of music that moves us, opens spaces of freedom and connection, and touches our heart and soul.

Care Team
At Halloween Fusion Valencia, we believe dance is about connection, trust, and community. That is why we created the Care Team: a team offering care, listening, and support so everyone can enjoy the festival in a safe, respectful environment grounded in consent and kindness.
From a feminist and intersectional perspective, we offer support and respond to situations involving discomfort, discrimination, or disrespect, placing each person’s wellbeing, autonomy, and dignity at the centre. We want every body, identity, and way of being on the dance floor to have a place, without pressure or judgement.
Our team is available throughout the festival, offering active listening, emotional first aid, and confidential support. You can come to us to talk, ask for guidance, share a concern, or simply find a moment of calm.
If something doesn’t feel right, we’re here.
We dance, care for each other, and build community together.
Caring for each other is part of Halloween Fusion Valencia too.

Organizers
Marcin Wosinek and Sayil Johansson
We’re Marcin and Sayil, and this will be our fourth festival creating together a space where dance, connection, and care can go hand in hand.
For us, organizing a festival isn’t only about bringing together good workshops, DJs, and people who dance; we also want to offer a high-quality, accessible, friendly, and caring space, where everyone can feel comfortable to explore, learn, and enjoy.
We believe in a Fusion that makes room for curiosity, improvisation, play, and freedom, without losing sight of communication, consent, listening to the body, and respect for our own and others’ boundaries.
